Made in is a research, collaborative, participatory, sustainable social design and heritage initiative that encourages collaboration and knowledge exchange of traditional craftsmen and contemporary designers in an attempt to revitalize craft traditions and to educate designers about the topic, thus creating new, authentic and more sustainable, value of contemporary design. The project is proposing a creation of new European design brand -Made in- based on unique craft heritage and contemporary design approach to services, scenarios and products, through a series of workshops and residencies. Project partners will establish a web Platform for the promotion of Made in brand where, based on their previous experiences, new business model of craft heritage revitalization through contemporary sustainable design will be presented inviting future partners and countries to make use of it, join the Platform and contribute to the Made in brand development.
