Young architects and designers from across the Balkans have a unique opportunity to present their graduation projects to an international professional audience through the Global Creative Graduate Showcase 2026 – the world’s largest platform dedicated to promoting graduate work in architecture, design and the creative industries.
The call is open to students completing their undergraduate or master’s degree between 1 September 2025 and 31 August 2026, and participation is completely free of charge.
Organised by Arts Thread, the Global Creative Graduate Showcase has become one of the world’s leading platforms connecting emerging creative talent with the international design community. Every year, thousands of final and graduation projects from around the globe are reviewed by an international panel of more than one hundred renowned experts, including architects, designers, curators, editors, academics and representatives of leading creative companies. For many graduates, it is the first opportunity for their work to gain international visibility beyond their university and to be discovered by influential figures in the global creative sector.
BONUS FOR YOUNG CREATIVES FROM THE BALKANS
Thanks to the collaboration between Arts Thread and Mikser through the Design Link programme, supported by British Council Serbia, graduates from the Balkans benefit from an additional opportunity: automatic consideration for the special regional selection, the Western Balkans Graduate Showcase.
All final / graduation projects submitted by 12 July 2026 will automatically be entered into this regional showcase.
Selected projects will be featured on the Arts Thread and Mikser websites and promoted across their social media channels, providing additional international exposure and increasing the visibility of emerging designers from the region.
Who can apply?
The call is open to students completing their undergraduate or master’s degree between 1 September 2025 and 31 August 2026 in the following disciplines:

How to apply
- Register on the Arts Thread platform at www.artsthread.com/register and create your account. Check the email address you used to register and click the activation link sent to your inbox.
- Log in to your profile and complete it by following the steps below.
Step 1 – Your Project
- Complete all fields marked with an asterisk (*).
- Upload a profile photo.
- In the ABOUT section, write a short introduction about yourself and your work.
- Once you have completed all required fields marked with an asterisk (*), you can move on to Step 2
Step 2 – Your Project
- Click on the +Projects tab in the grey navigation bar.
- Enter the title of your final / graduation project and add a project description.
- Click Save Project.
- Upload images of your project and, if applicable, add links to Vimeo or YouTube videos.
3. Submit your final / graduation project by selecting Global Creative Graduate Showcase 2026 from the Competition dropdown menu

- Eligibility: Students graduating between 1 September 2025 and 31 August 2026
